Personality: The sort of character who takes everything in stride. Everything. The man walking next to him could explode in a fiery hellstorm, and it’s entirely possible that the next word out of his mouth would be about the weather. His mind is entirely goal-oriented, and is almost always working on something or another. He says he doesn’t believe in leisure time, but is sometimes caught sneaking off for a nap in the sun.

History:
Born the second child in a small American family, Dice had never quite been considered normal. His father was a prestigious businessman, who lost a great deal of money due to another company’s illegal actions. Because of this, he had to work several jobs at once in order to keep up their lifestyle, quoting that providing the best for his family was all that mattered. His brother Rem, who was a number of years older than him, squandered this sacrifice, and instead of working hard so he could support his family, he slacked off and let them suffer. Being too young and unskilled to help his father, there was nothing Dice could do but bear it. Eventually, they recovered from the crisis, but the lesson stayed with the boy. In the months that followed, he began to create a list. It started on a few sticky notes, just a few minor goals he wanted to accomplish. But, he kept adding to it. Eventually, it was transferred over into a notebook, which was quickly filled with more tasks. Eventually it had become so expansive that he was forced to put it onto a massive scroll, which became dubbed “The List”, and contained every last thing he wanted to master before he turned 18. Never again, he decided, would he be helpless. As he went through the different checkboxes, eventually he reached one he almost forgotten.

He shrugged, and rolling the List back up into his pack, set off for Shibusen.
More recently, after acquiring a set of recipes, Dice has opened a coffee shop called “Uncle Bob’s Rumba Coffee”. Due to a combination of luck, extraordinarily bad competition, and a single, eternally loyal customer, the shop is slowly becoming more successful, and he has begun hiring more help.

Combat Style:
Rumba Rumble
- A fighting style that Dice created in order to counterbalance his lack of strength, it focuses on complex footwork and a constantly changing center of gravity. By disrupting an opponent’s “roots”, he can quickly turn an attack’s strength and speed back against them, in the form of a throw or a decisive blow.

Soul Based Abilities:
Malleable Soul
- Because of his natural passiveness, his soul is naturally attuned to the push and pull of more obtrusive spirits around him. Because of that, he is less affected by contact with other souls (In the form of attacks like Soul Authority or mental influence).

Stand Alone Techniques:
Rumba Judgment
- A “technique” developed for the express purpose of dealing with people who mocked him for his height. Dice stares them in the eyes, and then promptly delivers a powerful kick to the groin.

Well, seeing as that's filed under "Abilities" instead of "Techniques", I believe my guess to be a mite more accurate. And, Mimiu understood it perfectly enough.

It's what Stein did to his soul to neutralize Black Star's Soul Authority. Except in a less drastic sense. Not to mention being a passive skill instead of an active one.

Basically, it allows you to cancel out that weird special punch that Black Star does when he's not using Tsubaki, but not 100% chance of it.
